Greeting Card Ministry
Emmaus volunteers bring greeting cards to the homeless several weeks before holidays to provide them the opportunity to reach out and reconnect with family and friends. For some, it may have been years since they last had contact with their loved ones. Volunteers help write messages for those that can not read or write and support others while they express their feelings to the loved ones they may have been estranged from for many years. The ministry covers the cost of the cards and postage. Volunteers then assure the cards and letters are mailed.
